Important notice
At Ashfield Tigers we do spar (fight) in club and at competitions but enforce the use of all safety equipment during these times at all clubs along with semi contact kicks and punches. Head guards are statutory as are gloves,feet & shin pads,also recommended is the use of mouth guards (compulsory at competition) along with chest guards particually for women. We will not deviate from these guidelines...further explanation can be found by reading the About Us Page fully.

On the 18th April 2009 yet again another group of students pass their Black Belts.They were as follows Kimberley Keeling, Kyle Redfern, Molly Knowles-Brown & Lewis Johnson passed 2nd Dan Black Belts. Also Charlotte Graves,Jack Whetton, Harry Whetton, Mark Wooton & Gary Roberts attained 1st Dan Black Belts. Adam Beniston & Greg Hendrie also took a pre grade in anticipation of their 4th dan awards. Ellis Thompson was awarded brown/black for her efforts and help in this grading. Well done to you all everyone is proud of you. Photo click here

Greg Hendrie recently came back from The W.U.M.A World Championships in Greece with 2nd Place in Points fighting and 5th place in Light Continuous. Greg everyone is very proud of your acheivements.

On the 19th October 2008 we yet again had another group of students pass their Black Belts.They were as follows Mick Arram & Daniel Roberts 2nd Dan Black Belts. Also Angie Bacon, Jasmine Cupit & Josh Wootton attained 1st Dan Black Belts. Adam Beniston also achieved another grade to the array of Black belts he alreay has by passing his 2nd Dan in Shotokan Karate. Well done to you all everyone is proud of you. Photo click here.....

Calum Wright who took 3rd place at the WUMA English National Championships at Junior level in Worcester on the 17th Feb 2008.This was calums first fight of the year.The is an exceptional acheivment as Calum moved up a category to advanced level and also a category in height to. Well done Calum we are all very proud of you.Keep up the good work and hope there are many more trophies to come in the new year....
